I really enjoyed the podcast, it's a nice introduction into opencv. One thing I didn't get is that you said it's not possibl to figure out which products use opencv, because of the bsd license. I thought that the bsd license reqires you to mention that you use bsd licensed software? (otherwise you can do pretty much with it what you want.) Now I'm thinking of what could be done with opencv... What about a mood detection software, which detects wheter you are in a good mood or not? :D

Matt, that was my exact question while listening to this, especially with opencv using a bsd license.

Nat and Alex, awesome podcast! If I didn't know better, I could easily mistake this for an NPR podcast along the lines of Radio Lab or This American Life when it starts playing on my walk to work.

I wonder if the Kinect uses opencv - looks like a really interesting application in that field.

For Python users, OpenCV wrappers are available here:

http://stefanv.github.com/scikits.image/

These wrappers interact directly with NumPy arrays and do not copy memory.

Awesome episode! I just came across hacker medley and listened to all 4 at once. Then came here looking for more. The length on this one was perfect by the way.

Fascinating podcast - I really enjoyed it. I know it's a lot more work for you guys, but I enjoyed the long form. I felt you had ample time to interview fascinating people and really delve into the subject. Looking forward to your next one.
